One of the all time greatest movies, aptly named Steel Magnolias, was a 1989 American comedy-drama film, set in Louisiana. It was a warm and witty celebration of friendship, Southern style. It featured strong women, who stood by each others side, in good times and in bad. In happy times and in sad. It serves as the inspiration for this endearing piece of art.
